While many clients see Northline as a freight forwarder for pallets and cartons, the company has a long tradition of providing a much broader range of services to companies.

In the latest of a long line of over-dimensional moves for the Alcan G3 project, Northline coordinated the move of three massive tank cones from Louminco Engineering in Adelaide to Darwin, including a requirement for escort vehicles on the 3,100km journey.

Similar work has regularly been undertaken from Perth, Sydney and Brisbane for the project, while a separate contract to move some 30 over-length loads of bridge beams from Darwin to the Palmer River south of Alice Springs was completed in January.
