Northline has boosted its global reach by bringing three new experienced industry leaders into its dedicated Global Freight Forwarding team.
We have welcomed Sean McKirdy as Global Freight Forwarding Manager. He joins us with over 25 years’ experience including the past 9 years as a National Customs Manager for a prominent international freight forwarder.
Joining Sean is Robert Omahen who takes up the role of Global Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager. He has 10 years’ industry expertise including experience in both the Asian and European freight markets.
Julie Barnes has also been welcomed into the team in her role as Global Freight Coordinator, bringing with her a strong background in the global freight forwarding industry.
The three new team members have joined the existing team of Karl Heidenreich, Global Freight Supply Chain Manager and Charlie Storer, Global Freight Coordinator.
Our focus on building the Global Freight Forwarding Service comes at a time when we’re also making significant domestic infrastructure investments including new transport and logistics facilities in New South Wales and Queensland.
Northline Chief Executive Officer Craige Whitton said the company’s investment in its Australian network strengthens its global capabilities.
“Northline is offering importers and exporters a reliable national and international integrated supply chain and warehousing solutions to carry freight door to door around the globe, said Mr Whitton.
“In particular, we see a major opportunity for Northline to extend its reach into Asia from the Northern Territory, where we have a strong presence and there’s growing economic activity.”
