In 2013, we marked our 30th year by laying the foundation for the next 30 years and investing in our facilities and making improvements to our systems and processes.
In addition to the new Sydney transport and logistics facility (see separate story), we’re in the process of negotiating a new site in Brisbane that will be around 35,000sqm and ready for operation by the end of 2014.
We’ve also continued to invest in our people including welcoming the next generation of leaders to the company through the Northline Future Leaders Program.
Some new senior key appointments have also been made during the year with Carmen Jackson appointed Senior Sales Executive (NSW), Ron Tighe – Operations Manager (NSW), Rob Hall – Sales Manager (NT), Mark Davis Sales Manager (QLD) and James Lindsay – National Sales and Marketing Manager.
Investing in our people and culture has paid dividends for our clients and we’re proud to have employees that have been with the company from day one. In fact, from a workforce of 440 people there are 60 people with over 10 years’ service.
This year, we’ve also taken the opportunity to refresh the Northline brand under the overarching theme of Connectivity – connecting our customers with their customers seamlessly no matter the practical challenges. To visually express this theme- we collaborated with Alex Kesselaar and Aidan Munn in the creation of our collection of connectivity light paintings. Click here to view the full gallery.
This new branding will continue to be rolled out across the company next year.
