Northline’s new $21 million transport and logistics facility at Redbank in Brisbane’s South is nearing completion with the main building structure completed and roof now in place. Visitors to the site, located within the 62 hectare industrial Redbank Motorway Estate, can now get a real sense of the size and scale of this new 25,000 square metre facility with its imposing Monash Road frontage.
This week, work started on laying the concrete floors in the facility and this will be followed by the installation of the electrical cabling and lighting. Work will also start shortly on the fit-out of the two storey office space which will be home to Northline’s Queensland State Office.
Northline Chief Executive Officer Craige Whitton said it’s exciting to see the building coming together.
“On completion, it will provide more than 12,500 square metres of warehousing and undercover freight operations space including an all-weather loading and unloading,” said Mr Whitton.
Due to open in mid-September, the new Brisbane facility will become the second multi-million dollar investment made by the company in its infrastructure within 12 months.
