Delivering value for money to its customers and keeping a competitive market position is a key priority for Australian retailer Spend-less Shoes.
Offering ‘The Look for Less’ has seen Spend-less grow to operate more than 170 stores throughout Australia since the company was established in 1988.
Since 1997, Northline has played a key role in helping Spend-less to remain competitive by providing value for money transport and having the product for sale on the shelf on time. Northline currently provides logistics services for Spend-less in three states for both metropolitan and regional store locations – Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland.
Working with Spend-less, we have streamlined our logistics solution which sees the goods being transported from Adelaide and delivered to 75 stores, to be on the sale shelf each Monday morning.
Northline has achieved a 99% on time and in full delivery record with Spend-less.
Milton Rattigan, Northline’s Account Manager said the two companies had grown together by working in partnership for nearly twenty years.
“Storage capacity at the stores is limited so a centrally based, reliable weekly distribution service is essential in order for stores to roster staff to receive goods and start their trading week with optimum stock,” said Milton.
“During busy trading periods like Christmas, Northline provides additional centralised storage at our South Australian transport and logistics facility.”
