Read moreNorthline’s international capabilities have been given a major endorsement with the appointment to manage the freight and logistics for the construction of the Cann Group’s $130 million medical cannabis facility in Mildura.
Northline’s ability to deliver end to end freight solutions from anywhere in the world and seamlessly integrate into our national network led to us being contracted for the project which includes management of the import clearance and delivery.
The project was secured through an international partnership in the Netherlands.
Around 200, 40-foot containers from Rotterdam and Thailand will be imported into Australia for the project, with Northline managing the AQIS inspection of each container prior to being cleared for site delivery.
The contract also includes the transport of oversized machinery, which requires unpacking and steam cleaning prior to delivery. Under the contract, we will also handle several airfreight shipments.
