Northline: Logistics Project Partner for Northern Territory

Northline has a long history in the Northern Territory, and have been a partner to the NT in good times and bad, starting with rebuilding after Cyclone Tracy.

The Northern Territory is now undergoing another major period of transformation as it emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic and recovers, rebuilds and rebounds, so the Territory economy is stronger in the future.

Some exciting projects are already underway in the renewable energy, and mining, oil and gas sectors, and these projects will see both major infrastructure development and the need for greater infrastructure support and expertise throughout the supply chain.

This is where Northline is again ready to step in and step up to support the development and operation of these major projects that will help drive the future prosperity of the NT.

Northline is an experienced, Australian-based global logistics business with a proud history of servicing remote communities and undertaking complex projects, and the ongoing servicing of mining, oil and gas, resources and renewables industries.

Locally, Northline operates from Alice Springs, Darwin, Katherine and Tennant Creek with services including National Freight Management, Warehousing and Distribution, International Freight Management and Project Logistics.

Northline’s national freight, warehousing and logistics network of 13 depots and international freight management network provides a seamless connection between key remote sites across Australia and global markets.

The company’s dedicated Project Logistics team is charged with planning, developing and delivering tailored project solutions including supporting the establishment of remote site infrastructure and large-scale facilities.

Northline Chief Executive Officer, Mr Craige Whitton said he was excited about the future opportunities that lay ahead for the Northern Territory.

“We’re looking forward to playing our part as project partner to help support the projects that will help revitalise the Territory, with a strong local team and proven efficient and cost-effective freight management solutions,” said Mr Whitton.
