    Northline offers assistance to Knit4Charities

Northline aims to be a good neighbour by giving back to the communities in which we do business. That’s why we were pleased to offer our assistance to Knit4Charities by transporting boxes of knitted garments for donation, from Brisbane to Katherine.

Knit4Charities is a not-for-profit charity organisation that brings together like-minded crafters who enjoy knitting, sewing and crocheting to make items to assist those in need with the gifts of their donated works.

The boxes were full of items such as blankets, beanies, bags and teddies lovingly made by the volunteers at Knit4Charities for women and children of Katherine and the Big Rivers Region. They were delivered to Katherine Women’s Information and Legal Services (KWILS). KWILS is a free legal service for Indigenous women dealing with domestic violence. The donations will be taken to the various outlying communities by the Lawyers and given freely to those in need.
