Northline forklift driver receives ‘Save a Life’ Award from St John’s Ambulance

Northline would like to congratulate Darwin Forklift Driver Eric Nothnagl for receiving a Save a Life Award. 

Each year, St John Ambulance NT celebrates the commitment and dedication of staff and volunteers through the St John NT Excellence Awards. 

Eric was nominated for this year’s award for his assistance to a Northline customer who went into cardiac arrest while he was unloading their delivery. The paramedic at the scene reported that Eric was instrumental in saving the patient’s life.

Eric is generally employed as a forklift driver, but due to a shortage of drivers on this particular day he was asked to do some deliveries. Eric is the type of person that is happy to do anything to get the freight delivered on time.

Eric recently attended the Awards Ceremony at Parliament House in Darwin to accept the award for his heroic actions.
