Northline goes onsite with long-standing customer Flavorite

In March, Dave Batchelor, Northline’s IFM Customs Manager, travelled to rural Victoria to visit long-standing customer Flavorite, meeting their Chief Operating Officer, Chris Millis and Senior Maintenance Manager, Tim Nicholas, to tour their glasshouse site.

Flavorite are the largest glasshouse grower of fruit and vegetables in Australia and supply to large supermarket chains. Their produce is grown across multiple sites using innovative and sustainable farming practices and includes several varieties of tomatoes, blueberries, capsicums, cucumbers and eggplant.

Dave has assisted Flavorite with their international logistics needs for more than 20 years, including managing the transportation requirements for globally sourced items such as glasshouse building materials, nursery and maintenance equipment, as well as consumable items and state-of-the-art packing machinery.

Northline seamlessly transports Flavorite’s cargo from Melbourne Port to Warragul Farm, after passing through strict Biosecurity and Border Clearance processes. Thanks to Northline’s Tariff Consultancy services, Flavorite have saved hundreds of thousands of dollars in Customs Duty with multiple tariff concession applications for imported equipment not typically manufactured in Australia.

Northline would like to thank Flavorite for their ongoing support and look forward to continuing their partnership.
